So long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Good night......

It is time to say farewell to my time with the wonderful Graphic 45 and the design team...

I have thoroughly loved every minute of being on this superb world class team and wish to thank them for this wonderful opportunity over the last year. To my fellow 2011 teammates - you inspired me endlessly :)

But as one door closes another opens.... Keep watching this space....

Happy scrapping all and thankyou for your wonderful support and comments over the last year

Esme Layout

Inspired by one of my fellow Twiddleybitz DT Geraldine after seeing her mosaic style LO I had to try it on this precious photo of my Pop's sister who passed away last year. Yes I inked every edge of every piece of 0.5inch square!! And that bit took the longest - 3 hours rofl!! Beautiful rusting powder on the Twiddleybitz frame and some flowers and Homemade bunting finished it off :)

The last 3 items shown in my last 3 posts have been the 3 projects I created to reapply for the G45 DT - Sadly they weren't good enough for another year but I do hope you have enjoyed them and have been inspired by them. Happy scrapping :)

Bev's Trinket box :)

Quick one today - the girls and I am going to be doing some sorting out..... of socks and the cupboard in the bathroom and the shoe pile!!

Anyway - the latest releases by G45 are simply some of their best! Love love love the new Kraft Reflections and thought it suited a dear friend of mine to a T!! So using the TBZ trinket box I created this just for her :)

Have a great weekend :)

Altered Art house

I have had this plywood house for a couple of years just waiting for the right papers to dress it up and voila - along came Graphic 45 with Olde Curiosity Shoppe. I love the eccentricity of these papers and find it works perfectly with my style of work!

Once again - I use black gesso to coat the house prior to covering with paper and modpodge and then adding all those final bits and pieces :) Enjoy

Life as always has been extremely busy over the last month - we have had end of school term 1, Easter, Chionia and Gary's birthday, nieces engagement, nephews birthday, SIL birthday and .......lol lost track - still have Jess's birthday, sisters and nieces birthdays to go this month before taking off for a few days to SA to meet up with the best bunch of scrappers :) Can't wait!!!!!

Anyway - Chionia had her birthday at the Great Escape at Hillarys and seeing we haven't had rain really here in Perth for months what does it decide to do the day of her party but rain!!! Oh well the sun came out to play after a little while :) Also have been very inspired by another friend of mine who makes the most beautiful cakes and lolly bars - as I have said if she lived over here and not in Sydney then she would have done the girls cakes!! Lolly bags full of fun stuff and not too much sugary crap - just a pity people don't rsvp as I ended up having a few spare.....

My first attempt at fondant ganache and all that!! Not bad - actually had fun playing and learning whilst sticking etc!! :P and cake pops rofl!! Next time will be smaller but very yummy!! (recycled cake from water party to family do :) removed pink and added red rofl!!) Also went with a red and white theme - after looking on line decided I could make the Martha Stewart pompoms which are really easy and mum made the beautiful bunting :)
