lol....... had a look at our wedding video - what a laugh - the girls found it funny to see mummy and daddy on the tv!!!!
Been busy as usual - Jess had her end of school excursion last Friday to the zoo - I went along and had 6 girls who all behaved wonderfully. It was a hot hot day (39C) so was glad to get home for a swim at the end of it - you do forget how gorgeous some of the animals are and how endangered they are - tigers for instance are being killed at a rate of about 80 a year in the wild atm and with between 300 - 400 left they will be extinct in the wild before Jess leaves primary school - a very scary thought and so sad..........
Working on a santa house atm with scrapping so nothing to show off yet. The EB scrappy awards are in full swing with final voting closing tomorrow night. WInners announced on Saturday at Leenie's place lol. Will be there inbetween doing our Xmas tree hopefully. Off out to lunch to celebrate our anniversary so better get a move along lol!
Well no phone calls came through and I know they have been made ;) - not sure what else I have to do to get published but that's life lol - now hoping for a HM in at least one of the tasks! I love what I did and so do a lot of people so I know it isn't my work that sucks hehe!!! A big congrats to those who did get through - you know who you are ;)
Had a girls scrapping weekend away in dunsborough and I couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch of ladies to be with - thanks Di Nic Jodi and Dom :) did all the teachers pressie's - otp items - no LO's lol - couldn't be bothered trying to work out photo's etc beforehand!
Just for you Fiona - I am glad you love it and appreciate it :)
Otherwise - have had shocking hayfever the last few days - not happy jan!
Mystery deepens with the Masters - in previous years when all the entries were sent back - the masters were withheld and used for fairs etc. This year they have all been sent back so no-one is none the wiser lol - Mine still isn't back so the express post from Sydney to Perth has taken a week at least - glad it wasn't a huge rush! A couple of had stickers on them with initials hm - honourable mentions so a huge congrats to them - a funny way to find out :)
GRRRR at Chionia - I had my LO all finished and ready to photograph but thought no I should really take DH some cold drinks and lunch first so I did - got home my purse broke and coins went everywhere so while I was picking them up and in a matter of 30 seconds Chionia had stamped and then put sticky tape over her stamp on my new LO
Hence there is now an extra swirl in the RH corner and extra ink to cover up where the tape pulled the paper ....... Still like it but not as much as before lol!
Quiet sunday for me and the girls - Gary though on the other hand was up at 5am and out the door ready to spray Joondalup gate with antigraffiti coatings - he has to go to a height of 11m so hired a knuckle boom to do the job - that was delivered at 7am and not long after the generator blew up the elctric airless spray gun....... not happy jan as the knuckle boom is about $1000.00 to hire for the day and the job needs to be finished now as the little buggers have already hit the other wall with just their stupid tags - about 50meters long..... Anyway we finally got hold of the neighbours and have borrowed their gun! Thanks guys :)
Chionia keeps getting out of bed - she was put to bed over an hour ago to have her nap............... NOT HAPPY JAN
Well 100 posts - hehe - must be something I say for you to keep coming back for a squizzy! lol
Just quickly uploading my LO I did today of CHionia at Dom's halloween party - Helen is due any moment and THen it will be time to think about baths and dinner etc - boring! Will be back later with something to show off perhaps
Take care all :)
HUGE CONGRATS to Sine ;) - it has been a great week for your - not only the scrapbook city awards but something else too!
Last night we went off to a wonderful spooky Halloween party hosted by Dom - one of the teachers at the shop - It looked sensational and a lot of effort had gone into the party from the food to the decorations - the kids even had a bouncy castle and face painting happening! Needless to say my two had a ball and I think Chionia just about wore out the jumping castle she had so much fun! Thanks Dom :)
Other news - just busy with bookwork atm - trying to catch up with it all so I can concentrate on all the bits and pieces we have coming up in the next 55 days till christmas - only 55 days now and only 50 days until we take off for some fun and relaxation!
In a couple of weeks I am having a girls weekend in Dunsborough with the ladies from the shop :) A weekend of scrapping and chatting and relaxing. Can't wait - I really need a break atm.
November is here so hopefully before long the phone calls for the masters are made and we will not be waiting any longer - lol it seems to have taken forever! Good luck to everyone :)
A few congrats as well -
Steve Noon - a friend of ours who took off to Canada a couple of years ago fell in love and has just had a baby boy Lucas with his partner :)
and finally Essential Baby ladies are having a EB Scrappy Awards similar to the emmy nominations! lol 25 categories and voting for our top 6 finalists who then after a few weeks of scrapping if they want the winner will be voted and announced at a big scrap chat night :) Rach, Ryn and Tracey have put a lot of time into it and have done a fabo job! Here are the details and the PB link if you want a squizzy - there is an amzing amount of talented women amongst us!
Nearly forgot - Chionia has had her ears pierced - she looks so gorgeous and they seem to catch our eye all the time! She is growing up so fast - we have been toilet training for a few weeks now and she can go most days without a nappy or any accidents. The baby seat has been replaced with a booster seat as she was too big for her one - high chair has gone and next thing will be the change table and apart from the pram there won't be any more baby things in the house!
